More than $5.5 million has been raised through Walk for Life/Race for Life! What a tremendous impact these funds have made on the programs and services offered to patients and families at Palmetto Health Breast Center!
We're looking forward to seeing you on October 5, 2013 at Finlay Park! Were you part of the event last year? If so, you were among 6,000 walkers and runners who helped raise more than $550,000, including in-kind donations, for Palmetto Health Breast Center.
Funds raised through this event will ensure that women in our community will continue to have access to the best care close to home. With your help, Palmetto Health Breast Center can continue to invest in the best screening and diagnostic breast imaging technology so that staff and physicians can detect breast cancer in its earliest stage. Funds also support awareness efforts, the Nurse Navigator program and the purchase of critical items that are given to patients, such as a post-mastectomy camisoles.
